The world took a global hiatus on outside events amid the pandemic. In the midst of hardtimes, the world is slowly opening back up again. They say not all heroes wear capes and that must be true because AFROPUNK announced the return of its annual global festival taking place in Atlanta at the Atlantic Station Pinnacle this September 25th & 26th.
The lineup for the weekend includes headlining acts such as Wale & The Ppl and some familiar faces to AFROPUNK fest such as Smino and Rico Nasty ! The feature acts are just as exciting : Serpentwithfeet, Tkay Maidza, Amindi, Liv.e, Lesibu Grand, Hollow Sinatra and many more.
This festival is just what the world needed. AFROPUNK is known for their unique lineup of curated music performances and culturally relevant programming. This year's theme of "WE GOT US" hones in on the message of self reliance and self determination within the Black community. The festival is a reminder to celebrate Black culture UNAPOLOGETICALLY.

Although the world is open, safety is always a top priority! AFROPUNK is operating within the confines of the Georgia law and have RFID / health identifiers at the festival this year as well as providing sanitation stations, temperature checks, require masks for staff & patrons and encouraging use on the ground signage. They are asking everyone attending to test themselves pre-entry. Finally, staff and guests will be required to submit to a symptom check and waiver each day.
