Television personality, Bindi Irwin, 22, has announced her pregnancy with her husband of five months, Chandler Powell.
Irwin announced the news via Instagram, and Twitter with the caption, “Baby Wildfire Warrior due 2021.” She continued the caption, “Chandler and I are proud to announce that we're expecting! It's an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter.”
Bindi Irwin is a conservationist like her late father, Steve Irwin, who died in 2006 from a stingray injury to the chest while filming a documentary in Australia.
Irwin’s mother also announced the news via Twitter writing, “This is the best day ever! I am over the moon to announce that @BindiIrwin and @chandlerpowell9 are going to have a baby… While I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment, I know that he would be so proud.”
