Waking up Monday morning, my laptop automatically opens to That 70’s Show being on from last night, and the page refreshes to a page that says, “Title not available in your region.” Gasping immediately, I search Google in hopes for a reasonable explanation. That reasonable explanation being that NBC wanted to claim rights to the show.
Netflix will also be removing Parks and Recreation from Netflix on October 1st, 2020 and The Office in January.
I think a lot of people will be heartbroken that these amazing sitcom/comedies are taking a turn and won’t be easily accessible anymore. Many people are resorting to buying complete series of shows on DVD because they are not available on any streaming platform. That means, they will not be able to access these shows at the tip of their fingertips.
Meanwhile, Netflix IS however bringing back shows/movies that are favored by many! Here is a little list:
Moesha
Sister Sister
Masaba Masaba
Away
Hoops
Back to the Future (I, II, and III)
Girlfriends
Death at a Funeral
Many people are reconsidering their Netflix subscriptions, are you?
