Netflix has finally announced the release date to the much anticipated Selena: The series. It was announced almost two years ago that Netflix would be releasing a series based on the Queen of Tejano music, Selena Quintanilla. The release date came with a new trailer for the series which is to star, Christian Serratos as Selena. Part one of the two-part series is supposed to drop on December 4, 2020.
The series will be depicted as a “coming-of-age” story that will show how Selena began her journey to stardom. Netflix worked closely with the Quintanilla family on the series.
Alongside, Christian Serratos will be Ricardo Chavira as Abraham Quintanilla, Gabriel Chavarria as A.B. Quintanilla, Noemi Gonzalez as Suzette Quintanilla, and Seidy Lopez as Marcella Quintanilla.
