Festival Lookbook: EDC Las Vegas 2019

Kathi, me, & Tala ♥

Welcome back to another festival lookbook by yours truly! A few months ago, I was lucky enough to experience one of the biggest EDM festivals known as Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. I have looked forward to this festival for years now, which is why I had to go all out for my outfits. EDC was three days of partying from May 17th to May 19th at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Day One

For day one, my main focus was putting together a black outfit, because my rave fam usually has a tradition of wearing black for the first day of a music festival.

Hair: I have been wanting to wear wigs for so long now, and I finally had the courage to wear one for EDC. For my first wig, I wanted a unique color: bubblegum pink. I purchased it on Amazon from the brand, K’ryssma. It was only about $30! I didn’t want to drop $300 on my first wig, but to my surprise, this wig from Amazon was super high quality and looked cute af. My friend, Mimi, helped me cut and pluck the hairline to make it more realistic on my head. I struggled securing the wig on my head because my hair is extremely long. However, with two wig caps and a lot of hair gel, I was able to secure it. To secure it more, I accessorized with four hair clips to keep flyaways in place. I am obsessed with this wig; it made me feel like a whole different girl!

Makeup: For this look, I wanted a dramatic, dark look. I knew I wanted to use my Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in “Uninvited” (Black). I recommend this lip formula because it’s long lasting and doesn’t need re-application even after eating and drinking water. For my eyeshadow, I used a mixture of the Lunar Beauty Life’s A Drag palette and the Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette. I used a cool tone brown as my transition shade and did a half cut crease with pink on my lid. I blended black and purple for dimension on my outer corner. For highlighter on my cheekbones and the inner corner of my eyes, I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit. To finish off my makeup, I used “Drama” from Official Mink Lashes and gems ordered on Amazon.

Outfit: I am so in love with the maxi skirt from Dolls Kill. It has a sheer black outer layer that shows off my legs. The skirt has silver, glittery stars imprinted. With the skirt, I paired a sheer black bra from Amazon. Under the bra are pasties made from gems (also from Amazon). For accessories, I have a Dolls Kill black harness wrapping from my neck down to my stomach that adds a unique touch. The cute ass money fan that everyone asks me about is from a Las Vegas souvenir shop for only two dollars. Finishing off my outfit are my favorite black platform boots from Dolls Kill.

Day Two

For the day two of EDC, my group and I wanted to all wear orange, one color I was super excited about and never done before.

♥ ♥ ♥

Hair: I kept my hair simple: down and naturally straight. I accessorized with two yellow hair clips from Forever 21.

Makeup: My makeup was pretty simple as well. For my transition color on my eyes, I used a light brown from the Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette. For my lids, I used the bright orange color and blended it with yellow on my inner corner (both colors from the Juvia’s Place The Zulu palette). My highlighter is my favorite ever, the Fenty Beauty Killawatt in the shade “Trophy Wife”. My lips are glossed up, using Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in “FU$$Y”. To finish off my makeup, I used lashes in the style “Sweetheart” from Official Mink Lashes and two simple gems from a set I bought from Joanne’s.

Outfit: This outfit made me feel super cute. I bought the orange overall dress from Dolls Kill that I have been eyeing for months. It’s holographic and shines when light hits it, and the best thing about it, is that there are pockets in the center of my chest! Under the dress, I paired it with a light orange bralette from Victoria’s Secret. The accessories pull off the look so well. The bad-ass earrings and necklace made from chains and metal clips matched with my silver holo platform boots, all from Dolls Kill.

Day Three

My main focus for my third day outfit was doing a lavender/purple theme. I was most hesitant about this outfit but actually ended up loving it.

Hair: I kept my hair down and straight just like day two, but this time, I used four silver and purple glittery hair clips purchased from Claire’s.

Makeup: My makeup look for this day is one that I am most proud of. I am sooo happy with how it came out. For my eyeshadow, I used the Juvia’s Place The Zulu palette and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette. I blended the pretty pink shade from The Zulu palette for my transition color. I created a half cut crease, packing the silver glitter “Cyborg” shade from the Sultry palette, and I blended The Zulu purple shade on my outer corner. However, I felt like this wasn’t enough, so I decided to add silver loose glitter on top of the “Cyborg” shade for that extra-ness I was striving for. I used the NYX Face & Body Glitter in the shade “Silver” and the Too Faced Glitter Shadow Primer to achieve this. For my highlighter, I packed on so much of the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil in “How Many Carats?!”, and my lips are once again Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in “FU$$Y”.

Outfit: The cute top is a lavender Victoria’s Secret bra that I paired with a holographic purple skirt from Dolls Kill. I accessorized with purple shades from Forever 21 and with the coolest harness from Amazon. My purple fishnets to top it off are from Dolls Kill. And lastly, my overall favorite part about this outfit are the shoes: bad ass white platform boots ordered from Dolls Kill.

Let me know which is your favorite look! I am so happy with how all of them turned out and can’t decide. Be sure to look out for more lookbooks, PULP fam. In the meantime, follow me on Instagram @thyvu_ ♥
