How Companies are Helping During the Coronavirus Pandemic

It’s been a couple of weeks since coronavirus changed our lifestyles in order to prevent more people from getting infected, especially those with underlying medical conditions and adults over 60 years old. It is an overwhelming situation since no matter where we look, there is fake news everywhere or scary opinions about how the future will be like.

Today we want to give you some inspiring news. Even in a crisis, there are still helpers and people willing to make the world a better place. That’s why we’ll show you a list of companies who are helping people affected by Covid-19.

Microsoft

They will continue to pay their workers hourly. Employees will receive their regular pay even if they work reduced hours.

Linkedin

The social network for professionals is offering 16 free online courses. People will be able to learn about productivity tips, managing stress and how to balance work and life when it comes to working remotely.

Casetify

The company that creates custom tech accessories like airpods and phone cases is giving free sanitizing wipes with every order. They also released an UV Sanitizer that destroys 99.9% of germs that live on the phone's surface and 100% of the profit will go to GlobalGiving's Coronavirus Relief Fund.

Google

It has implemented paid sick leave for all of their temporary staff and vendors if they have any symptoms of coronavirus.

All of these brands will design protective brands for medical workers. Because Covid-19 is easily transmitted, people who are in contact with sick patients need to keep themselves healthy by wearing the masks.
